Fall Series

I wanted to start a Fall Foliage series of four paintings. Once a week I will be posting this series as I paint Watch for Fall Foliage II this week. With fall right around the corner I wanted to get a head start with the beautiful fall colors. I hope you will give comments on this painting so that I will be able to improve on my paintings.

Here is the latest painting of the sunrise that I am working on. This painting is on 16X20 canvas that I hope to finish soon. I love sunrises so I thought I would give this a try. The large cloud I thought was overshadowing the overall look of the painting, since I wanted the sunrise and reflections to be the main focas of the sunrise. I hope to finish this sunrise soon. I will update this again when I have finished this.

New Painting

I wanted to do a sunrise with some reflections. I love reflections with mountains, bluffs, so I have this painting that I am working on now. This isn't finised yet, but I wanted to show what I have been up to the last couple of days. I will be updating this again towards the end of the week so I hope you will enjoy viewing this as much as I have in creating this painting.

I am also working on a new website for my art. I have wanted to make changes with my website for some time now and will be have a gallery of my paintings and grouping the subjects together.

I am concentrating on getting more Landscapes, Horses, Seascapes and Wild life. I will be posting more in the future and I'm hoping for some comments to let me know what people think of my art.

Ocean Waves

I have just now finished another ocean painting. This one I had to paint with the waves coming in. I loved the colors that I was able to produce on this painting. I have always loved the ocean and this one is one of the many that I plan to paint more paintings like the ocean.

I hope you will enjoy viewing this painting as much as I have painted this one. I will be adding another painting's that I have started. One is of another horse and another one of ducks with lilly pads. I will be posting more next week.
